:cry: this is what they replied with when i asked how much for a rebuild.
If you are doing a turbo you need forged pistons and rods. You will spend $2500 on just the parts.

Does that apply to the JDM d15?

jdm d15b has the exact same rods as a usdm d16z6
in my opinion the d15b is much tougher but the aftermarket support isint there for it so its hard top say how much they really handle

by a low mileage jdm d15b and boost it on like 8 lbs and tune it
that should be around 200 hp safely and should run for a long time on a good tune :thumb:
