S4C ???? wtf

General tranny info covering all models & motors.

- Wed Jan 12, 2011 9:12 pm #232907 lads i have a b16a sir engine out of a crx del sol. And i bought a s4c gear box from a vti. But they wont fit together. theres 24 splines on the clutch disk and 25 on the input shft of the gearbox. even the flywheel is different. what do you recomend?

- Wed Jan 12, 2011 9:18 pm #232910 buy a clutch for a Hydro trans. that Del sol should have fit. do you have a picture of the Vti trans? is it cable or hydro? you can usually tell if it is hydro if it has spot for a tq mount up front.
