#235625 ok so out of nowhere i have yet another problem and it came out of left field

when i push the gas it dies instantly but its still getting fuel because it will hold a steady idle

if i slowly add gas it will rev all the way but a sudden jump kills the motor instantly i checked the timing belt its fine moved the dizzy all around made no difference

anyone had this problem? have any idea how to fix it?

#235710 I know you said you checked the timing belt and moved the dizzy around, but also your timing could still be off because the head and block are different so to make up for the difference in timing you mite need an adjustable cam gear. I needed one wen I did my mini me swap. Also check your fuel lines.

#235711 Also check all sensors. Maybe the ecu?

#235735 Ok its getting fuel because it starts and idles im going to replace the filter it may be clogged...

I am not throwing any cel codes or I could check that

And it worked fine for the first day I drove it just fine up and down the block

As for timing the b7 and b8 are the same the only difference is the extra valves

Not bogging at full throttle

at 1/8 throttle it slowly rises and will redline

At 1/4 throttle or more it just stops like I turned the car off its not a bog or a shutter just a straight shut off

Im thinking it could be a bad tps clogged fuel line that when it adds pressure it gets stopped up it may even be my fuel pump not pushing hard enough im going to go through it all piece by piece it may even be my fpr I have to pull it off and clean it as well

Could the fuel pump relay be going out or would that cause it to not start alltogether...

#236141 ok so little issues solved replaced the tps mad no difference only threw code for the map sensor

so i switched the map and tps plugs again and back to the no idle till its warm but it drives... and once its warm its fine no issues

hummm...
