in the car pics: i put in my resonator and you can see i used a 2.5-->3.0 inch adapter from summitracing

also, had to modify my Downpipe ALOT, I Feel i tucked the exhaust up WAAAAAAY better than that asshole at the muffler shop from last time...

first exhaust experience... and don't hate on the welds

The new exhaust you did is awesome. I like how well its tucked in.

thank you sir i sure sure hope so, I'm waiting on my injectors, it's going to be tight because there set to be delivered friday and if i miss it, i'm boned

so here is what she looks like right now, got the intake mani on, jb-welded the air injection nozzles, and IAT sensor into the charge pipe:




DP is wrapped and connected,


how the intercooler is gonna look, i'm thinking i should cut out the webbing???

I think you should paint the intercooler black and really go for a stealth look - it would add more character to the car that way. i dunno - my opinion.

thanks man, that's exactly what i'm thinking! it looks pretty sweet all assembled, i was able to keep the splash shields toooo

so on thursday night i had an electrical problem and rescheduled my appt to monday (tomorrow)

i got these bad bitches in the mail on friday:




i swapped the fuel pump out for the walbro:


i *cough* JB-Welded my IAT sensor into my charge pipe

turned out OK, but i want something better lol

So much progress in such short time. This is awesome. I'm super pumped to see what she makes tomarrow.

yeah thanks, i guess it has been quite a bit of progress in a short time.. i have been out there in the shop for 2-3 weeks straight now, almost ready to be done with it



so Before i went to the dyno on my way to work, my header wrap kinda burnt itself:



what can i do about getting the lines further away from the manifold? i look at other peoples setups with AC and it's never really an issue cause their further away? must be that the z6 sits differently in the EK shell.....


went to the dyno on monday, swapped my injectors in the parking lot and got some cool JDM obd2-obd1 injector clips from PWJDM (had in stock)


here are the dyno numbers, pretty much the same as last time, new injectors though, so i'm not hitting 100% duty cycle :TU:


i like the way the car drove, but i want more...clutch was holding me back so i didn't even decide to up the boost right now. plus we found a coolant leak that only developed under pressure and i didn't want to risk that blowing.
