#236413 I've been reading up on Virgin Coconut oil and it's benefits. I think I'm giong to get some and try it (both me and my wife). My wifes trying to lose weight and from what I've read is that taking a tbsp of VCO before meals it can help with that, plus all the other benefits (stress, hyper thyriodism, helps your pancrease, boosts your metabolism) lots of good stuff!! Once I pick some up and we try it out for a bit I'll report out findings/results!!

#236713 If you are looking for a supplement that will give you better stamina then take Gakic. Nothing better, you will not feel tired when you normally and can usually go 30-40% longer before you start feeling fatigued. Only bad thing the pills are huge and you have to take 8 at a time. Lol and the powder is the worse tasting thing on this planet so I wouldn't recommend the powder.

#236721 Read up on that stuff and some aspects of it sounds pretty good.. but this got me "One serving (8 caplets) of this product contains about as much caffeine as 3 cups of coffee". To much caffeine imo.

Sleep is defiantly key

Not only am I concentrating on my diet but I also am keeping watch
on my testosterone production.
Im sure some of you are like "" But as a male it is important to do this

You might not have known but soy products, caffeine and alcohol all counteract testosterone production

#237120 Yeah I've read up on those counteracting the production as well.

Soy will make you grow tits and make your dick shrink lol It would take an insane amount to do that but its still funny. in all seriousness it increases your estrogen levels!! F that!

#241061 Thinking of changing my diet. Something like 60-70%fat, 20-30%protein, 10%carbs... something along those lines not EXACTLY though but close and all the veggies I eat already! the ONLY fruit I'll be eating are seasonal berries, to much sugar in fruits and some will say its 'good' sugar but good/bad sugar doesnt matter. It spikes your insulin and that I dont want throughout my day.

Also a couple things I'm going to start doing is:
-1/8-1/2 tsp of Unrefined Sea Salt in 8oz of warm water first thing in the mornings.
-Incorporating Coconut oil into my diet.
-Getting a GOOD resveratrol supp.

I REALLY want to eat only grass fed, open range meat... but I won't be able to fund the amount of meat I eat. Its UBER expensive but soooo much better for you!!! Check it out if your interested www.eatwild.com

I've been listening to a podcast by Sean Croxton called Underground Wellness and Lots of fantastic information and lots of stuff I want to try out and see how well it works for me. Check it out if you're interested in health/wellness/nutrition!

#241356 i havent read the 36 pages of this thread but i just wanted to share my health/fitness phase.

back in highschool i was 5'7" weighed 115lbs!! thats a fucking stick right there, yea i was really weak i get tired really easily and it was embarrasing at the weight room at my school. but the flip side is that i had a tremendous amount of stamina, since im lightweight and i used to play soccer, some ppl say i never get tired running nonstop, i was in the best shape of my life, cardio wise though.

my friend always pushed me into working out, lifting loads of weight, more than i can handle but i still pushed myself. sooner or later i got addicted, i loved the heavy sores u get after a couple of days. i started buying whey proteins, just basic ones. only worked out 3 times a weeks. and in 3 months i weight 135lbs all upper body. i was fucking built, u had no idea, i was lifting more weight than ppl that weighs 200lbs. if ur skinny and then u start bulking up it really shows. but now since my life has changed and moved on from highschool i have no time for it no more. i wish i did though. maybe in the future again.

important things i learned when working out. most important is SLEEEPPPP!!!
next is ur FORMM!!! i just laugh at ppl who think they all big when they cant even get the form right lifting shit.
then its ur nutrition. if ur a skinny guy and u wanna gain weight, consume twice as much carbs as u do in proteins. i think for my weight i needa take like 50grams of protein, that also would mean taking 100 grams of carbs.

hope yall learned somthing! :D

#241473 I work out about all day, everyday. Ha In high school, I was 5'11" and weighed about 130. Pretty scrawny. Now, I grew an inch and weigh about 190. One thing I have learned for a solid, healthy diet, is to take good multivitamins. I would recommend GNC Mega Men's Sport. The have vitamins that eat away at bad carbs and whatnot. It's definitely not your average vitamin. Also, my flight surgeon let me know that Fish Oil will make you live longer. Haha

#244056 About the whole Gakic convo. You don't have trouble sleeping unless you work out later in the day. It says as much caffeine as 3 cups of coffee but you don't get the jitters like you would from coffee, energy drinks, Nano Xtreme etc. Its hard to explain but you don't get tired what-so-ever, your muscles will give out before you feel them getting tired and if you stack it with Leukic its an even bigger rush. Can't say it sucks until you try it.

A lot of people here are saying sleep is the most important thing and that is false. WATER is the most important thing.

There are alot of important aspects.. water being a very important one, since our bodies are made up of mostly water. But Sleep is when everything happens... muscle growth, production of HGH, fat loss... It all will NOT happen without enough sleep.
