i think its more about how common a built GSR compared to stock h22. most people just swap a stock h22 in and leave it because it puts out around 200 hp by itself. its easier and cheaper to build a nice GSR but if you go the h22 way its a little more expensive because most of the time you have to sleeve it, though if you do put out the money, you can make a monster of an h22 that can put out some nice numbers.

My contribution to this topic, my H22A.
I just wanted to change my headlights to blakhousing, bud they don't fit. The back of the headlight hits the belt of the alternator . I have to look how i can fix this.
The engineswap is even registered in my cardocuments. So it's streetlegal here.

and to fix the headlight issue. go to innovativemounts.com and purchased their alternator relocator kit. it brings the alternator down out of the way of this more. =]

Today i ordered the innovate mounts, they look good and i think they wil fit the best in my setup, i also uses innovate enginemounts.
@EG6b20R I looked in to foxgearshift his advise, bud when i look at the difference of quality, there is a lot of difference. bud the price is the same. My gues is that the innovative relocater is stronger. .
