- Fri Apr 08, 2011 11:18 am #249119 right guys, i need some help here. i have got a D15B2 engine on my EG atm, and i got a complete car(del sol) which has a JDM D15B engine in it.

have i got everything i need for the conversion?!

am i correct i can reuse the following parts from my eg:
-Drive Shaft
-Tranny
-Radiator
-Engine Mounts

and the parts i need to transfer are:
-ECU(P08)
-obd1 looms(both engine & interior)
-Egnine(Obviously )

i know the distributors are different in both engines, what about all the other pumps?! i just replaced my PS pump recently, can i still reuse it?! Also, does the D15B use the same timing belt/alternater belt,etc... as the Z6?!

i am shit at this thing, and this is my understanding after doing some reading. am i on the right track?!

ya you r right but the timing belt wont work from the d15.-Drive Shaft
-Tranny
-Radiator
-Engine Mounts

- Sat Apr 09, 2011 10:14 am #249273 alright, since i am in the UK. i dun get D15Z1(VX) here. but i have found a site to order some belt.....bloody expensive tho....

after a lil disccusion with my mates, i am confused now if i can use the whole wiring loom from the D15B and just plug and play to the ECU, or i would need a converion harnesses?! or esi loom?!

- Tue Apr 26, 2011 2:36 pm #252414 after a longer consideration, i am doing a Mini me instead of the swap. but my only concern is the wiring, can i just swap the whole loom from the D15B(obd1) to my EG(obd0) along with the P08 ECU?!, just plug and play?!
