- Sat May 07, 2011 10:50 pm #254187 i jack the car up from the front to check out a leak I'm startin to get I'm sue it's either my tranny drain plug or the gasket anyways while that was going on I heard a steady click and it was this thing but I don't think it's the right one for my engine cuz it just dosent line up right to bolt down ........and yea my speedOmiter hasn't worked since I bought the car

- Mon May 09, 2011 11:50 pm #254500 What year engine do you have and What car? Obd 1 D series will have the port to install the plug right on top of the actuall VSS. it wont have a wire attached to like what you have pictured... like this..

- Tue May 10, 2011 7:55 pm #254631 Its a 93 eg hatch I bought the car with a d16z6 I'm sure ..... The block says ZC that's it....... And the tranny says s20 or p20 i forgot and I'm guessing it was a auto to manual swap cuz my cluster is auto and my mount is all f'd up but like I said Earlyer I jacked the car up to check a leak and at the same time I had it raised I raised the tranny a lil bit and the mount lines up fine it just needs bolts but even so the threads on the tranny r warped I just need a new tranny......... And yea it's odb1

Which sucks cuz it's only on my lap top and scrolling through all this pages :x ...... and it says there's a MAP sensor on top if the throttle body but mine dosent seem to have one ...... But the connector is

is it safe to say I have the wrong throttle ?.....

- Thu May 12, 2011 7:46 pm #254961 You my frined are blessed with a Map sensor on the firewall. I believe the CX and Dx 93 and below models used a Map Sensor on firewall. Since it's a JDM ZC SOHC VTEC engine im not too sure if they came with a Map on the TB.. Id have to double check on that.. Actually you see that small vaccumm hose coming off the TB looks like it's going to the firewakll. that should be going to your MAP sensor.. .. Get an entire engine bay pic. it could help..
