the red Hatch is keeping the same color when I paint it next month.

- Tue May 17, 2011 11:51 pm #255654 Well a couple of days ago the paint shop called me n said the primer was having some kind of chemical reaction with my old paint. We found out that the steel blue paint on my hatch was spray can paint n they sprayed it over the factory red paint without sanding the clearcoat off. Pretty much a big mess. So they had 2 strip the whole car down 2 the original paint n re-do everything. This is how it sits as off 2day.

- Wed May 18, 2011 9:53 pm #255785 Well went 2 the paint shop 2day n it is 1 step closer 2 the finish product. They put the new driver side fender i gave them on n primed it. N they painted the door jams. They r getting the engine bay ready this evening n they should have the car painted later on. I hope they get it painted 2night. :D :D :D
