okay to my 2 questions. im thinking about buying a friends crx and here are the questions.

1)Can a car take a while to start because the cam hears arent aligned right ?
2) If the car idles on and off by itself in rpms when you first turn it on could it be that it needs a new oxygen sensor ?

The fuel pressure regulator and or the fuel pump might be going bad if it takes a while to start

Also could be the charge or distributor
could be the timing too

No. It could be the FITV or IACV if it's only doing it when the engine is cold.

- Fri May 20, 2011 3:19 am #255996 If only when cold it's 90% the FITV, but since the IACV is right there, might as well pop that sucker off and clean it too.
