I like the blue color of my RF fender. I also love the honda racing white. I don't know yet is the correct answer. Changing from another color from white would be a big undertaking with the engine bay and all.

No bashing noticed.

The CRX wheels are not particularly light I would say, but I do like them.

#256473 I hope not.

I'm going to try and work with what I got. as long as I can get high mpg, safe ride, and ultra reliable I will continue to try and improve.

I absolutely see your point. it's not pretty or easy, nothing worth doing is ever easy, but my civic still has life in her.

#257760 David you don't happen to DJ and run a website called Chicago Groove?
I'm located in Chicago as well and have the the same CX rust and all but looking to paint and swap a D16Z6....

#257762 I see you are the same David. We've met before a few times at Hot Jams, Bevi Amo wine bar, we DJ'ed at the same parties. Are you still spinning? Dude you've had your CX for a few years right? Great work so far on your CX. I got a long way to go still.

yep..that me. I still DJ a little bit. Nice to hear from you. THose places bring back great memories. I don't play out as much as I used to. I have a lil 9 month old girl that keeps me busy.

Anyways I have been working on my CX for a couple months now. I will be adding the rear quarters and then adding new coilovers.

great news on the swap. are you going to do it yourself, or have a shop do it?

#257783 Yup it's tough finding time to spin & take care of a lil one. I have a 2 yr old boy, and I can't even mix to upload on Soundcloud  I try to go out as much as I can, but limited to a few weekends a month. I've been hanging at Wicker Well, Lokal, spun there a few times, and go to electro/"hipster" parties . Chicago just isn't the same, club wise. Lot's of lounges, bars but no real clubs. At least musicaly, we're always ahead of the world. I purchased a D16Z6 longblock on Honda Motors Online.com I'm swaping it at the end of summer when I find an EX/Si tranny, and get vacation time. I have my wifes cousin's boyfriend to help me out. He's a mechanic that works for a honda dealer in Oak Lawn. Right now I'm just buying minor engine parts, also focusing in converting my blue interior to black, via paint and original parts. You know there's a web site that sells panels for Honda cars. It's fixmyrust.com or something like that. You can get the rear wheel arch panels for $89 or $120 for the full rear panel. Also running boards, door skins, bumpers at a good price. I have the same rust issues on my CX... Damn Chicago winter slushy slaty streets.... :?
