cant get my car to start

- Mon Jun 13, 2011 3:22 am #259257 Alright I got a d15b7 I have spark and I'm getting fuel bit its not starting I replaced plugs wires distributor it was running before and I turned it off then it wouldn't start back up then I changed everything and its still not starting..

- Tue Jun 14, 2011 6:00 am #259392 i am having the same problem with my d16z6. It only happens sometimes though. If you find out what it is please post why it was not starting. I have tried main relay, fuses, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, iac, throttle body and gasket, fuel pressure regulator, the valve on the other end of the fuel rail, and the ecu. None of these things have fixed the problem and i am lost also.

Lhd, it could be your fuel pump going out or faulty wiring.

- Tue Jun 14, 2011 3:17 pm #259422 Try checking the ICM and Coil inside the Dizzy. U can either test them yourself or take them to a Autoparts store like Autozone or Oriley's and they will test them for free. :thumb:

Is it trying to start at all, like even a little sputter?

I'd double check the firing order first. :thumb:

- Thu Jun 16, 2011 1:56 am #259624 if both q's are to me i work at autozone and the car starts and runs perfect most of the time. It just doesnt start sometimes. It runs strong from 600-7700 with no sputtering at all.

- Tue Jun 28, 2011 7:39 pm #261396 alright so I have now changed the dizzy and ignition switch still without any luck. I have also gone and changed the injectors. the car floods and wont start, but if i disconnect the injectors(all four) and start the car it starts easily and runs till its out of gas but as soon as I connect the injectors it floods and wont start. WTF?
