- Fri Jun 24, 2011 2:10 am #260671 Okay so I just replaced my valve-cover gasket because i was leaking oil pretty bad. I went to wash my engine off afterwards so I can see where else i might be leaking oil from. After washing it thoroughly, i drive home. When I left the car wash, my engine was ticking, and sounded much like a go-kart. I'm not sure if I may have gotten water in my engine.. or what? Any advice or ideas? Anything helps.

follow the diy thread if you dont know how to do it
and it that doesnt slove your prob then u might have go water somewhere it shouldnt

- Tue Jun 28, 2011 4:56 am #261321 So it turns out the issue was that i was missing a gasket for my spark plugs, and oil was leaking into the holes where my spark plugs sit. I fixed it by using compressed air, blowing it out, and cleaning it out well. I replaced the gasket and now my car runs like new!
