ok guys iam swaping a non vtec d16a into my friends civic also its auto what ecu could i use does he need a p2e is that non vtec? also its in a ek he wants to keep it auto and non vtec for the moment so i was just assking so questions

P2E is a non-vtec OBD2 ECU from the 96-98 EK DX. So yes, that is the correct ECU to use.
