#263758 I have a turbo kit and my friend wants to trade me his lht equipped Jackson charger for it.....

My kit.
EBay t3t4 .60 ar, EBay intercooler, treadstone piping, true greddy rs bov, turbonetics evolution wastegate, and precision 440 injectors, and a basemap chip for the setup.

His charger.
Jackson charger, full kit with lht water cooler setup capable of 17psi less Than 3k on charger

With that being said I'm looking to make around 400 to 450 HP street setup , but I know I need to rebuild my turbo and get a better and bigger intercooler and maybe a bigger waste gate ..... just looking for input

#263764 A new Turbo is much easier to find and replace when the one you have goes bad.

Superchargers are cooler.

Turbos have easier HP potential.

Superchargers are cooler.

I'd stick with the Turbo since its more practical. However superchargers are pretty sweet and don't need to spool up. Good luck replacing it down the road though.

#263765 Id stick with the turbo as well superchargers may seem cool in the beginning in my eyes they where but they are fairly limited in overall what you can do with a turbo however theres many more easier to come by options and it will get you up to those numbers rather quickly if you have the cash and the tune...

#263771 Yea I don't Think Jackson offers much support for those style chargers anymore either  parts are hard to come by. The charger itself is a basic eaton unit tho ,

This one dose have the lht water cooler setup tho. That alone costs 1000 to have done

But keep the input coming :thumb:

#263797 the only "ebay" parts are his turbo and innercooler. the rest are quality. he's doing something with the turbo and the cheap front mounts work fine..

#263798 Go the SC route it will be more fun and reliable. Plus like the others have said not a lot of people rock the SC anymore and to be different would be good. plus no boost lag. ++++

#264021 Yea the ebay front mount and turbo surprised me , both have seen 30psi on 2 or 3 passes (on accident) but I'm going to go thru the turbo with a Garrett kit and get a treadstone intercooler later on

Pretty sure I'm point to keep my turbo I don't feel like tearing my car apart
