quick question so i finally pulled my d16z6 that was burning oil that i am planning on rebuilding through out the next year im picking up a zc on saturday its obd0 at the moment he says i just need a new dizzy to do obd1 what does dizzy mean kinda of a noob question this is my first engine swap and modifications i have done since i started moddifying my hatchback

im asssuming distributor so my second question would be that i have that my d16z6 is already a obd1 so i can just use that distriputor and its good to go

if its OBD0 you will need not only the dizzy, but the ECU as well.

Distributor ecu and injectors. Obdo injectors use a resistor box

unless, you are converting you car to obd0, just use your d16z6 injectors and a p06 ecu, preferably chipped.
pretty sure a d15b7 distributor will bolt up and plug into to your obd1 harnesss, the z6 one has a unique bolt pattern.
check to see if the z6 intake manifold bolts up, it will save you some trouble if it does.
the driverside motor mount might need to be swapped from the z6.

All the dohc zc's I've seen have there own distinct distributor bolt pattern, the only thing they match up with us spec is a d16a1 and there only Obdo,
You will need a jdm dohc zc distributor I think gen 2 or 3 to use your obd1
