- Mon Aug 15, 2011 5:07 am #267590 Got another trans. Swapped the gear stacks to mine, and took her out on pump gas again last week.

2nd place again haha. Got a bit anxious, went -.015 red. But i was dialed 11.84 and she was dialed 16.18. So i had quite the wait. So since i went red, i just ran it out. Went 11.74@118. But god damnit, she broke out. So all i needed was a green light, and get on the brakes when i caught her. oh well.


Then this weekend ....

Won last night. Guess third times a charm haha. Car is getting quicker. The change up in suspension is really starting to show on the time slips. It went from consistent 1.80-82 60fts, to 1.70-72. And brought the 330's down in to the 4.8-9 ish range. I'll take some pics of the slips to show the improvements.

I am now #1 in the points series. Beating my little sister by 4 points :P haha.



On another note. I'll be able to go fast again here soon. Ordered a 10pt Chromoly roll cage from S&W Racecars last week. It should be here by the end of this week. Then i can start fitting and welding. And then i can go to the track and not worry about being kicked out for being too fast :)

I'm not done yet. But I should be done by Tuesday. Went to the track friday night. Car picked up a LOT from chassis stiffening. In the heat of the day around 5:30 pm, car would be around 11.95-12.0's. First pass of the day went 11.70@120. Second pass went 11.68, third pass went 11.64 for a new PB on pump gas (390hp). fourth pass i had some issues. Oil pressure sensor walked out of the back of the block :( all 5 quarts of oil all over the firewall and track :(Luckily, nothing was hurt. Damn solid mounts.
