dizzy strip down

- Wed Aug 31, 2011 4:59 pm #269810 The screw is all that is holding the rotor on the shaft. If the screw is already out then just pull the rotor off of the shaft. It might be a tight fit, not slide right off.

why is it the replaced one doesnt have to screw tho

- Thu Sep 01, 2011 12:10 am #269884 did you try testing the ICM and coil? Plug wires in good condition? Plugs in fairly decent shape? Valve cover not leaking down into the spark plug holes?

i change the coil also
plugs were changed 5000 miles ago they r bosch copper
and wires are still in tact
valve cover is good

and i do not have a led tester or a hz function on my multimeter

I've had perfectly good wires just go bad one day without warning, causing my engine to miss. I guess the wire inside just loses conductivity after so long.
I'd try wires before throwing any more $ at the dizzy. :thumb:
