#255945 alright so i looked at the engine. and yeah it is single wire. so then i took off the valve cover and theirs only 8 valves. they just had switched out the valve cover, so i feel dumb.
so when i get the p05 it should take off all the CELs?
cause now that i put the p06 it throws

map sensor
o2 sensor
fuel injectors
crank position sensor
water temp.

hey man thanks a lot for the help. i would be beating my car with a bat if it wasnt for you haha

i just have to connect the 02 sensor. but how do i change the ckp?

also on a bad note. this sob still doesnt pass 3000 rpms :x

anyone have any ideas

#271819 Hey bud, thought I would post here because I have a relevant problem, but not one I can recognize...
I have the exact same RPM limiter, so I will agree on the fact that that ecu goes into limp mode.
However, mine isn't always like that, mine does that once i drive it hard for a short amount of time. To give you a time estimate, i can redline first, second, and maybe part way through third, it would give me the fuel cut.
Im running a d15 mini me, with a y8 head, and a chipped p06 to p28 ecu. Currently wondering if getting a virgin p28 will help, but haven't had the chance to test.
I also have CEL, but i forget what codes it threw, will post again with an update (if anyone is still alive in this thread, haha).

#271835 The crankshaft position sensor is located in the distributor. Is the correct one on the car? The correct one to use is the TD41U. The part number stamp is on one of the 3 mounting "ears".

If you have the correct one on the car then you will need to get a new distributor. (the housing atleast, the CKP sensor rotor is built into the housing). Sounds like it has malfunctioned.

#271872 Alright, checked my CEL, I got 10, 16, 41.
Forgot to mention that I do have an AEM wideband, which is wired into my ECU. I should probably check the connection for that and maybe get rid of code 41.

10 is Intake Air Temp sensor
16 is fuel injectors.
ideas as to why I get a fuel cut into limp mode during a very short heavy drive?

well you do have a fuel injectors code. Sounds like logical place to start. And get another IAT or wire it up correctly if not done. And correctly wire the O2. You cannot solve any problem with prexisting ones hanging overhead.
