Oh boy. The approximate chamberis 34.6cc it would raise my compression to 10.18 to 1 that's alot. Stock is 9.28 this is also assuming I get another head and have .010milled off of it to ensure its flat Also I would use the stock type head gasket.

- Sat Dec 24, 2011 7:13 pm #286897 I think you just install 1.6 rods. But then again I thought the journals on the crank are different sizes. I will pull the specs for each crank and rods. But I don't think it's possible to use one with the other. Several reasons. #1 is the deck height, the piston will rise too far above the deck. If that happens all bets are off.

You might as well just get a D16 engine and install it.

you cannot build a stroker out of a 1.5 if it was possible without a redicoulos amount if work i would have done it

- Sun Dec 25, 2011 12:52 am #286924 I don't really care to use the vtec head. Its even easier to swap the y7 head on and call it a day. I found a head with everything on it for 50 plus shipping.

i have d15b2 bloch, z6 head and d13b2 pistons. rost is from d15 engine. CR is around 12:1 in this setup and i must fuel minimum 98 octan gas. ill instal d15b camshaft soon and will go to tune this parts together :wink:
ohh i forgot. ill be instal adjustable cam gear to :lol:

sooo stay tuned :hehe: we will see how muc HP and KW will be :woot:

- Sun Dec 25, 2011 3:41 am #286931 The head has 106k on it. I will have it checked and milled before it goes on the block for sure. Since it already has the cam the valve cover rocker arms cam gear etc. It should work out pretty good.
