#297797 So this is my second civic coupe, the first one I had it when I was in the Marines. I did all kind of thing to my coupe and it got stolen the weekend before I deployed to Iraq. Now almost 10 years later I bought a 95 ex (by the way the first one was a 94 ex) and It need some tlc but is in great shape.
The one major thing is that it need a paint job.
Here come the frustration part, So I decided to do some tune up work to the car and God help me , I found an idle issue, then it failed smog, and then the tail ligths were a mess, then the ac took a shit, while trying to fix the ac I saw a leak in the clutch pedal. so now that I fixed all of that I steam clean the engine to find all kinds of leaks in the mother F#&*@R oh and my car sways side to side sometimes. Should I burn the mother fucker or just pray for it? :x :x :x :x :x

#297803 thats the thing about building a car. your going to run into problems. no way around it.

be patient dont rush it. and just go with it. you'll learn so much from it.

#297814 thanks for the words. I know I need to take it easy but its just frustrating when you are almost there and the you find something else wrong.
Yesterday I just parked the car in the garage and left in my wife's CRV. Today I have a clear mind and a new way to approach the car. I guess I wanted to hurry up and get it painted but I will take care of the mechanical stuff first. I do have a nice sleepper!!!!

yeah honestly when I started messing with cars I began to start finding a lot of problems I had to fix it's just the way it is, and like rob says you'll learn a lot and that's a plus so it's not all so bad, just be patient with it and good luck. :thumb:
