It won't be a daily but I'm sure I'll drive it a lot once it's done. That's actually what I want to do. Just don't know where to buy just a fifth gear at

Thanks man. Im definitely going to look into that. This way I wont be going into boost driving down the highway. This type r trans is crazy. Cant wait to get some boost into this motor.

- Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:59 pm #307942 Did some more work last night. Started the kit the kit on the car. The downpipe was a bitch. Can't believe it was so hard to put on. Anyway here are the pics. I cannot wait to finish the kit up and drive the car.
Dont understand why Blackworks is upside down on the intercooler.

Mini update, got my oil return fittings and I need someone to weld the bung into my pan. Picking up injectors tomorrow and then hoping to have the car running by Saturday. Cannot wait!

- Fri Jun 15, 2012 5:42 am #308334 Got more work done. Just gotta wait on getting my oil pan welded and get the injectors in and she is ready to rock. I cannot wait to get this car rolling and hit some boost. Anyway, here are some pics of the progress.

Jegs came through with overnight shipping on return hose fittings.

All hooked up.
All on, waiting for oil line to get run and injectors

Definitely going to cut the bumper.

Thats it for now. Still waiting on injectors and getting my adapter for the oil lines and so on. CANNOT WAIT!

HAHA I think i would win 148104 jdm gangster awards for that bumper.

On a different note, got some good and bad news tonight with the car.
Good, the kit is on and ready to go, also got my lines all ran and mounted the intercooler and cut the bumper and so on. Also got my gauges in and hooked up.
Bad news is that the oil return is leaking. Slowly, but leaking. And I did not grab enough oil cause I thought my 4 quart jug was a 5 quart. That was certainly my fault. But the car is ready to get fired up and probably will get fired up tomorrow.

I will post some pics as soon as my computer and phone work together so I can get em. Cannot wait!

Thanks man, Good to know people are still looking at this thread. Ive lost track of it sooo many times.

So I got the car running today. Runs like crap. Moving in the heat range 7 plugs tomorrow morning. But it sounds like a nascar running in the garage lol
Anyway, here's some pics. Once the videos load I will post them so you guys can hear it. Anyway, here are the pictures.

Oil pan return welded and JB welded for extra insurance.

Blox adapter that did the trick

RC 440cc injectors


Autometer boost gauge

Feed line and oil pressure gauge set up

Trying to show clearance of wastegate to rad support. This kit takes up alll the extra room in the bay.


I have a lot more pictures to put up, just have to get them off my phone. And I will put the videos up asap.

Bumper all cut up makes me sad



*i know the intercooler is not even. The pipe has to be adjusted and it will sit even.
Autometer Boost and Oil Pressure Gauge. Once I get a new sender my water temp gauge will be here with the oil pressure. Boost will move to the steering column.

- Sun Jul 01, 2012 3:38 am #309828 Hey guys, no update at this time. Had a big issue with the oil pan return, so I ended up ordering a Moroso. I am on vacation right now and will be back on Monday to work on the hatch a little bit. A storm came through and took out all of our power so I have to hope it is back on before I get back. But anyway, after this pan, the hatch should be set!
