Sorry has already been built in the UK and is one of the most customise civics I've ever seen the build thread is on Civic Life titled awdcivic the guy is an aerospace engineer by trade and did the build himself.
He also added his own built launch control and anti lag system plus to fit the turbo in the front he moved the rads to the rear. I'll find the link so you can see.
As for the factory ones it was my understanding they were jap only and around the 1000 mark were made

I know about that one, read about it now and then, pure genius.
Im also on CL under the same username.
its now gonna be mid engined, but he's using the 4x4 from a cr-v or hr-v.
Im talking about using the rtsi drivetrain, whether or not if its the same setup im not sure, but taking it from a rtsi (that cant be saved) and donated to a coupe.
