#32559 yesterday i was driving to the chiropracter as usual and there was a sign that siad dip but there was no dip so i slowed down a little but not as much as i should have and i hit a huge dip in the road. it caught my tow hook on the driviers side and ripped it of the radiator support. it tore through the spot welds and broke the boxed in end. ill post pics when i get home to see if any of you guys have any idea how to fix this

#32560 damn dude, roads up your way sound shittier than Ohio roads.

That sucks, sounds like you're going to have to weld it back. But I'll wait to see the damage pics. Hopefully the spot welds snapped before any thing got bent.

#32562 not sure if its the same there, but a little bit ago on the news here they were talking about damage from the road like pot holes, dips, construction debris ect but how in some cases the city will pay to fix it because its their fault. you could always give them a call the worste they can do is say no

#32611 I took my tow hooks off, extra weight. Now I'm really glad I took them off!

(I still got towed once without them, modern tow trucks pick the car up by the front wheels.)

I suppose you can try bending it back and try welding it up. It may not look perfect as before, but what else can you really do?
