- Fri Mar 01, 2013 9:46 pm #327557 I'm planning on modifying my d13 engine, I'm thinking of putting a d16z6 head on my d13 block, if anyone has done this can you point me in right direction on what parts i need? Is there anything else I can do to the d13 engine to get more?
If all your going to say is 'no point, just swap in d16/b16' or 'modifying a d13 is pointless' then please don't post thanks. I just want to do something different, as different is cool.

- Fri Mar 01, 2013 11:14 pm #327560 well man do the common I/H/E, but if it comes down to it spend the money and get a d16z6 swap or even a y8 swap you can find them for 500-700 bucks
Also if im not mistaking the d13 is carbed and the z6 is FI, so for the price of doing the work and getting the z6 head to work on the d13 engine you could drop another d series into your civic
