- Thu Nov 21, 2013 12:18 am #339126 Hello everyone I just recently got an eg and haven't had any problems until I drove home today and realized I had a puddle of oil on my drive way . I know I have to replace the oil pan gasket soon but the oil looks like its coming from the transmission?? I'm just trying to start.

- Thu Nov 21, 2013 4:55 am #339131 if its the oil pan gasket(probably is) it can run down the clutch inspection cover because that is right there against the pan. it actually used 2 of the pan nuts to mount come to think of it

make sure when you replace the pan gasket you do it right the first time cause it can be a pain in the bum to do and it gets worse if you have to do it twice
