Oil pressure gauge install with sandwich plate help

- Tue Feb 04, 2014 3:31 pm #342177 Hey guys Just can anybody explain me how and what wires to run from the sandwich plate I got an oil press gauge and oil temp gauge have both sensors as well do you just have to attach a wire on the end of the sensor and bolt it and run it to the gauge???or there something else to do ?

- Tue Feb 04, 2014 3:43 pm #342179 You are correct, the sensors thread into the plate (be sure to use the white teflon tape so you don't get any leaks) and then follow the manufacturer's instructions for the wiring to the gauges. The wire should go from the sensor to the gauge and then then the gauge but I'd read the instructions to be sure you wre everything correctly.
