Hey guys,
I bought my 1st Civic in October 2013 for 300 canadian bucks and it's been sitting in the garage till January,
so I decided to start the project as the weather is getting better here in Montreal, Quebec. ( P.S. I was a Bimmer head before
)
It's a 1993 Si hatchback which is an EH3;
Has original 191260 km ( 119k miles ) on its stock D16Z6 w/ manual tranny.
It has a few rusty spots on its floor, rear quarters and right side rocker panel.
The cars had one owner and was driven every weekend for almost 21 years.
I start the topic with some pictures of the day I picked up the car and what has been done so far.
The first day...
The hood release cable had been stuck inside the engine bay and because of that reason the last owner had never touched the bay before, so I ended up having this
I started to clean the bay with WD40 and Microfiber cloth;
And also sanded down the hood with 220 grit 3M sandpaper because it was faded.
These are the major bodywork problems the car has.
Also wanna get rid of this...
Anyways, since I'm a student this is the best I could do till today...
I'm planning to clean the whole shell and get the bodywork done.
More to come so stay tuned guys
