#349096 Getting closer! That blue vacuum hose is temporary. These pics where taken before I installed the heater hoses too. But they are in and the radiator is topped off.

I am also aware that the hose clamps are too big and a bit of an eye sore. It's something that can be addressed later. I just want this thing running and driving this winter and then next summer I'll clean it up.

The only way the charge harness would reach everything was to route it next to the valve cover and then down. I didn't like that so I'm going to lengthen it tonight so that it can be routed down along the frame rail and then over.

There's still a couple of little things left to be done. I also still need a half shaft and an o2 sensor. As well as research what the hell that connector goes to that I have laying out on the core support.

#349099 Finally did my research on that connector. It's exactly what I thought it was. I just had to be sure. It's for the IAT, which I don't think came with the swap.

#349125 Got the charge harness extended and harness routed along the frame rail.

Threw the battery in so I can make sure all is good and that the fuel pump still worked with all the wiring that had to be done lol. We have fuel pressure!

Just for the hell of it I hooked up my obd2 code reader and 2 codes came up. The IAT obviously and the code for the multiplexor, which from my reading is always going to show when using a stock type s ecu. So looks like I'm on the right track lol.

All that's holding my up now is the half shaft, IAT sensor and the o2 sensor. I can't believe I'm this close.

#349219 It's ALIVE!!!!!

To be honest though it ran like crap because there's no o2 sensor and the fuel pressure was too low. Adjusted the fuel pressure and it ran better but with no o2 sensor it still ran like crap obviously. I just wanted to see if it ran. it fired right up!

Still need a half shaft and , as mentioned, an o2 sensor, but she does run! oh, and straight header. It was loud lol.

Even closer to driving this beast!

#349289 I got an o2 sensor today so I figured I'd fire it up and let it get up to temp. Fan never came on, so i had to track that down. (the wire mess visable). I believe the fan switch is bad. So I just wired the fan to always be on for now and will clean up that wiring later.

My heater doesn't blow hot air anymore either. I'm hoping it just needs to be bled some more. I'll get it figured out.

Just a halfshaft away!

(It really is ALIVE!)

I have found out that in our area, they don't exist lol. And when you go over budget, yes it's expensive lol.

Honestly, I can find one for around $100 but it's hard to pull the trigger right now. I'm trying to either sell off some parts or trade for it before desperation sets in haha.
