- Fri Jan 04, 2008 3:58 pm #36322 So there is a guy on another forum that is full of shit, he had... key word there.. had, a D15b with a 14b turbo, vx manifold, getto fab i/c piping, no fuel mangement, and no tune.... he claims that he was putting about 220hp, on 6psi, and that he would be able to run high 12's... if he ran the quarter, but he didnt only ran 1/8's

I wanna see what you boost pro's have to think about this. is he as full of shit as i figure he is :lol:

Oh and just to show that he didn't know what he was doing, he abids by the non tune, but he ended up melting a piston :lol:

- Fri Jan 04, 2008 4:11 pm #36325 unless he had a freak motor, i would say he is making 170whp or less. and choppy power at best. The 14b is capable of 220whp..but not without a tune and some psi to back it up espeicially on a d15B

with 3 hours of tuning, and 10psi got me 170hp

You need 15 pis or so to get 200/220hp on a stock D15b7

Yeah I'm also on eghatchback. i dont really know him, just read the part where he said it was on 8psi when it melted.

Guess i missed the 200-220hp thing.
