#36322 So there is a guy on another forum that is full of shit, he had... key word there.. had, a D15b with a 14b turbo, vx manifold, getto fab i/c piping, no fuel mangement, and no tune.... he claims that he was putting about 220hp, on 6psi, and that he would be able to run high 12's... if he ran the quarter, but he didnt only ran 1/8's

I wanna see what you boost pro's have to think about this. is he as full of shit as i figure he is :lol:

Oh and just to show that he didn't know what he was doing, he abids by the non tune, but he ended up melting a piston :lol:

#36325 unless he had a freak motor, i would say he is making 170whp or less. and choppy power at best. The 14b is capable of 220whp..but not without a tune and some psi to back it up espeicially on a d15B

#36326 oh i forgot to mention that he was only running at 6psi too, I tried arguing with him cause i have never seen nor heard of a D series running more then 200hp on stock internals with less then 10psi

with 3 hours of tuning, and 10psi got me 170hp

You need 15 pis or so to get 200/220hp on a stock D15b7

#36468 Haha thats such bull shit. I highly doubt the toothpicks that honda cleverly tricked us into thinking were rods would last to 220hp. Not to mention it wouldnt make even close to that power, or run that time.

I know Jman knows him, as he was posting in the thread where i called him out on it

anyway he was talking about beating a WRX, he stated

Yeah I'm also on eghatchback. i dont really know him, just read the part where he said it was on 8psi when it melted.

Guess i missed the 200-220hp thing.
