i don't mean to flame or what ever it is called, but i don't know where you got the info from but a b20 is a great set up for boost if you wanted to go that route. It has the low compression and great bore for the torque. As far as the walls being weak...most Honda engines will not tolerate much more than 8 psi before the engine becomes unreliable.
I'll tell you where I get my info......the shop I work at!! I get my info from the countless damaged B20's blocks sitting around my shop. I get my info from all the pissed off customers that are sorry they ever did a B20.
B20's have thinner walls than all other b-series engines. 6mm seperates each cyl, where all other b series' have 9mm seperation.
the b20 casting technique is also different from all other b-series castings.
this accounts for its weakness in comparison to the other b engines.
