#43373 i just brought my block and head from my grandpas shop and they shaved
the head and block took of about 0.1 on each and now im going to use a 72.5 gasket insted of a 75 so i have lowered the combustion chamber by 3.7 which wil be great !!

#43428 what teal is saying about the timeing issue is a distributer is head specific. meaning if you try to bolt on a distributer by concocting some sort of bracket you can never be sure what would be correct timming. beacuse the distrubuter is only 180 degrees off or right on when used with the correct head. mounting just any old one up to your head and you can't gurantee where it will end up. just pick up a distributor off of ebay and go with that and save yourself the trouble.

It'll plug right in, but your going to have to do some wiring to hook up the vtec.

#44085 do you have a manual for your car? Like Haynes? If so, then you can find out exactly what you need to wire by reading the wiring diagrams. They're complicated at first, but study them for an hour and it will start to make sense. Then all you need is a pinout diagram for a P28 and you'll know exactly where each of the 4 wires needs to go :thumb:

#44088 ii know but im asking do i need to change to a 4 wire or can i just connect the ecu up directly and will i have to do anything to the ecu or do i just unplug and plug in ??

#44091 as mentioned before, you need to convert to 4 wire o2 sensor for a P28 ecu

any OBD1 ecu will plug directly in to your obd1 harness - just plug the P28 in
