#44902 since when did they start charging an additional .30¢ per transaction :x In addition to the standard 3% and 2.5% if the payment came from outside the US border?

for example, lets say a US member buys a civic-eg sticker. paypal takes 19% of that payment. for a Canadian member buying a sticker, paypal takes 22% of the payment. So about 1/5 of the $ goes to paypal.

Unfortunately they are the online payment monopoly in the US :(
The best alternative I have found is moneybrookers.com but they are not avail in the US.

#44906 For me paypal is a new world... i'm sorry

Cuz it's so much easier to buy things outside Europe and stuff.

And a creditcard is an option to consider, but i don't want that for so many reasons.

i've never sold anything, but if i do i basically try to locally, and if not locally to people i know, and just have them send me a money order and i send out the item at the same time, but that's only to people i know wont fuck me over.

#44964 Personal cheque.

The thing that gets me is that eBay owns PayPal, and they make more than enough money through that! let alone all these BS PayPal fees.

#44987 You know what I hate?

Sellers selling items for $0.01 and then charging a shipping fee of $250. This way, ebay takes $0.00 from them and they make 100% profit.

If people were more honest and abided by ebay's rules and restrictions that are in place to make an honest profit and protect buyers maybe we wouldn't get ripped so much on paypal fees.
