#46563 yup you read right, sold the civic about 20 minutes ago, now with the money i'm paying back my mom from tax money she lent me to pay for the Teg, and put the rest towards suspension... im leaning towards the standard Koni/GC combo at the moment, cause i've decided want something that rides smooth but performs well.

It was sad to see the civic go, but i knew it would, and that it was time to move on..

ps, no "you should have kept both comments" :P

True, but i've heard mixed reviews on Ksports, and the PIC Coilovers that i was originally thinking on getting have spring rates that are comparable to Tien Basics, and to be honest for what i want it's a little stiff for me, I moreso want something that lowers the car, has some adjustability and has good ride comfort, I've been told that Koni/GC's are good for that type of situation, I was thinking on getting Tokico Blues and Stech's but i would like to raise the car up some in the winter as well

I honestly am a suspension freak and I can tell you the koni/gc will always outperform the D2s, Ksports. The shock dynos of the konis vs the ksports and d2s are dead giveaways on how big of a range the koni adjustments are vs. the D2/Ksports.

GC has benefits of customizable spring rates and they have sleeves specific to koni sleeves. Konis have lifetime warranty if you buy them new. If i ever had to get another setup, i would hands down go with koni gc setup.

I personally reccomend Koni Yellows/GC with customized spring rates. You can usually give ground control a call and tell them what you are planning to do with your car and they can reccomend spring rate combos for you. If anything you will be spending around $800-900 for one of the best setups for the money.

Tokico blues are only 15% stiffer shocks.. which is not that great for aftermarket springs that usually exceed 100% more.

Well the car is'nt going to be seeing any track time, if it is any track it's maybe one or two trips down the strip. There's a guy semi local selling Tokico Blues with S Tech's right now for a good price, he's only had them about a year, and doesn't drive the car in the winter, so i'm debating on just going with those for the time being...

#46830 ah too bad, should of kept it for a winter beater :P

but yea i think you should get those springs and struts from Ryan, its defiantly the way to go for you, since u dont like to have your car slammed and u dont like my stiff suspension lol.
