D15, D16, D17 and Mini-Me swaps

#47286 I have a d15b i just installed and a blown d15b7 which i want to rebuild some day, i broke a rod. I also have a sohc vtec head and i would like to figure out what block it came off of and what car it came from. also the d15b, does anybody know what it came out of year model same with the vtec head

#47293 should be able to tell by the casting marks on the head by what year and the code for it example

PR3-3 (circled in yellow
year 9/2 (circled in red) i think is the 3rd circle that says the year
Etc...

keep in mind that is a b-series head
D-series head should be similar

#47303 p08-4 and 9/3 1/0 1/8 /7 but each pair of numbers is i the center of a circle except the 7 the is no first number any info please

#47570 d15b block with the d16z6 head, can you tell me any info. what am i looking at hp stock, also displacement. where can I find specs on this block and head

if u do that setup and get a smaller { THINNER} gasket and hone the cylinder walls mabey if u got money get new rings and at least polish up the intake and exhaust in the head u will get 120 or so

where did you get a number hp from? Is this based on experience? Cause guestimating hp is ridiculous. :)

Only sure way to get a guestimate is from a dyno. Even those are inconsistence with numbers.
