#47592 Well, I won't be in it until beginning of July because of inspection & paperwork, etc...
We looked at it for the second time Saturday, and made an offer earlier this evening. after a couple counter offers, we came to an agreement.

we got the house for $20k less than appraisal value, they aren't kidding when they say "it's a buyers market". all appliances stay too!

I'm gonna build a deck asap and in a couple years I hope to have that additional garage/shop built in the back of the property :hehe:

I'm leaving for TX in the morning, will be out for almost a week. Hopefully I'll be able to log in every few days... Shirt orders received after today will be shipped next week. Holly, yours is the last one I got, it is going out tomorrow morning.
Don't burn the place down while I'm gone

#47602 Congrats!

I have been a homeowner for almost 2 years now and it is great. And I ran out of garage space already! It looks like you only need some garage door insulation for year-round work- it appears the rest of the garage is drywalled and therefore insulated. Very nice.

US > UK

It costs an arm and leg, heck your hole body just to afford to live in a one bedroomed place!

If I even bought a place with mass of land (aka a farm?) I would go straigh to a surfacing company and tar-mac the hole shit over and build a race track :)

we got it for $179k incl all appliances, 1 yr warranty, and got the guy to throw in a year of Dish network. He paid $204k in 2004, I feel bad for the guy!
it's bigger than we needed, but it's a good investment and we can live there for longer now.
