Hey everyone. I know the d15z1 is an engine with almost no potential due to its really small intake valves. I know though, that the d15z1 has low compression. If I were to put the d16z6 head on it, it would make the engine compression around 7!
... so with this information, I think it would be a great opportunity for a turbo set up with about at least 8psi
Now... I need help with more information. It sounds easy, but I want my set up to run reliably and not throwing a rod or something. The thing is though, the d15z1's connecting rods are so tiny and thin! Would this turbo set up eventually break them or no? Also, is it possible to even make this set up smog legal? I live in California, and we are popular over here with our strict emission laws
. I need information on this set up. I do not want to build everything up and have it just die shortly after. Thanks again... and sorry if there was a post up like this... I didn't see it
