- Thu Feb 28, 2008 2:03 am #43969 anybody know or have a site or pictures to do a 5 wire o2 and change it to a 4 wire o2 i have a vx civic and am dropping a z6 engine and running a p28 so i need to convert my 5 wire 2 a 4 wire HELP ?? thanks a bunch !

i posted here and few other playses because im so desperate of help so please help !

- Thu May 15, 2008 6:03 pm #55514 Yeah... its the expensive route.. but im pretty sure you can just go to Honda and get not only the o2 sensor for the d16z6 but the whole wiring for it. It basically just clips on and off. NEVER cut or Sauter an O2 sensor .. sorry .. but there is my 2 cents worth =D

- Thu May 15, 2008 7:54 pm #55531 Try ff squad .net, Hondaswap, and Honda-tech. I know for sure one or all of those has "B18C in a VX" and the wiring is identical. There's also lots of 5 wire to 4 wire conversion DIY's. I don't feel like searching for you.

- Tue Jun 17, 2008 3:41 am #58831 well basically what i did was got the 4 wire o2 and had the connector to that which contains the following pins


wht connects to wht
gren-wht to grn
yel-blk to blk
org-blk to blk


the wht wire connect it to the wht wire also on the vx harness.

the gren-wht tap in to the intake air temp sensor wire

yel-blk goes to the harness that located on the driver side were there are all yel-blk wire were all at near the brake master, you pin it in the empty slot. if you dont have a pin just tap in to one of the existin wires that yel-blk

and the org-blk connects to your orng-blk wire on the vx harness

well that how i did it and it works great.hit me back up if you gots ?


i also told biretsu89 same thing dont know if he did it yet
