#55543 just woundering -

i just read that you had to buy some new ignition leads as your old ones were causing a missfire - was the missfire in vtec?

#55587 csc.org is just a temp thing though... grant the owner of csc has told me whats happening with it, should be good once they do it. im not aloud to say anything though. lol

my HT leads were well and truely fooked... the miss fire was at low rpm's not in vtec.

i went to service my car the other week, pulled the HT leads out and the inners of them stayed on the spark plugs. lol

so i whacked the magnacore 8.5mm's on and problem solved.

#55594 oh right ok

-its just that ive got a bad missfire when vtec engages

my car also takes awhile to start so im thinking my HT leads are dead....

#55596 just ordered:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=004

i know they are cheap ones but they will do the job for now and will look quite good.

i also treated myself to:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=022

im fed up of using crap tools or having to go back words and forwords to my dads house for tools... so i bought myself a decent starter kit.

will do for now, until i own my own house and have a big shed or garage... then i'll be going all out on tools and kit. i really wanna get a engine crane and engine stand :D

will up-date with pics when the braces turn up and i fit them

#55601 good call on the strut bars - dosent matter that there cheap they'll do the job!

as for tools - i wnt out few months ago (when i fiited my clutch flywheel etc) an went out and bought a socket set (cost nearly £100) but its aesome! got evrything i need an thre awesome quality! one of my best buys ever id say 8)

another good thing when buying tools is just buy acouple of bits each week - that way you build your tool kit up nicely.

unfortunatly the bosses have spent all there money on the carbon fiber business. the other businesses the owned have suffered soooo much they have gone bust.

which means they cant afford to me at the moment so im jobless. im currently looking into a completely different job which is a change of pace and will be more satisfying... plus the pay is quite good aswell.

im gunna miss working for a tuning company but its given me some great experiance for the future... might start my own business up one day.

oh, the bosses where NOB heads aswell... non of them could run the business very well.

the best bit is, the last few parts i have bought (carbon spoiler, HT leads, tool kit, strut braces) where all from the work paypal acount... non of them know the password, etc so i thought fuck it... they fucked me about so they can buy me and my car some new toys :thumb:

#55639 Day light robbery, classic :)

I got laid off from Window Fitting after 3 years because the company went bust, now I'm working at Sainsburys  haha.

I really need a new job, but only being 19, I'm still a full time bum sponging off my rents.
