Besides, where I work I park my car nose in, and the little wankers looking at my car, I just know they're going to knick it, so having an OEM rear lid would make it look more original.
I tried to get Saturday off work, but they said if I threw a sicky I would be sacked, so I guess I'll have to wait until next year to go to Japfest if it's on

As for the struts. I will proberly also take one from you, in about a month or so. I really want a roll cage first, but as my MOT and TAX is due next month (and being just outside of the lower TAX bracket ) I proberly will be stuck for cash.

I'll keep it on until a OEM import lid comes up, I keep checking eBay but nothing yet. Or if anyone has one I would do a straigh swap, I don't care about my loss.

I hit a fox last night on the way home, fuck me. I hit it hard, it had blood comming outta it's ass and shit all over the road. My girl picked it up to put it in a nearby bush, and it was floppy as fuck. Poor bastard, luckly it didn't fuck ma car. I didn't get any snaps as I thought it would be crewl and nasty to post pics of it

if your going boost - stay D series

i removed my airbags couple of weeks ago - weighed over 6kgs!

i can sell you a custom carbon airbag tray too if you do - looks sweet as, can show you pics if you want.

just thought i'd jump in here...

i make those bars posted above... en yes bouli is my friend

these are not miracle replica pieces... it's a totally different design... the x consists of 2 bars... both can be tensioned seperatly...

plus... i've only seen a miracle x bar in real life once... the bracket on the strut was broken... so i dare to doubt their quality...

mine is fully made out of stainless... except for the alu end on the x-bars... this is so that the joints can be bolted in...
it comes with everything needed to install... and if it breaks... send it back and you'll get a new one...

id 100% stay D series for boost-

it accepts boost alot easier as the D16z6 runs low compression so you can run 8-9psi safely without blowing anything up (apart from your clutch which will need upgrading eventually)

ive thought about selling my B16 and going back to a D16z6 and boost a few times.....

- Sat May 17, 2008 9:46 pm #55769 Fair enough man, I really don't know what to do to be honest. I really want a B and considering my D16 has 120K on the clock, I thought a turbo would really kill my engine, but spose buying new rods, pistons etc would make the engine fairly newer again

I'll prolly just stick with the D anyway, as I'll rather pore money into a K than a B.

So anyway, I took G's advice and painted my wiper arms...

I really was in a mood where I couldn't be assed to take the wipers off or even the arms, so I thought I would just paint them on

Taped / newspapered the area off...




You can really see where the paint was chipped off...

Primered it all up...





Then came the black paint...






Conclusion:
What a load of fucking shit, this is the worst paint job I've ever done, you can't tell from the pics but the paint was all orange peel.
If anyone is going to do this, I would recomment taking the wipers / arms off first.
Also sand down the old paint first, as I really couldn't be fucked it came out looking like shit.

I painted the front bumper about a week ago too, this also came out fucking shit. I used Ford Red as I couldn't find anyone with an exact match of the red on my car...




I'm starting to lean towards doing a full re-spray of the whole car, I really want a black EG.

bumper looks loads better even if it is a slightly different shade of red... better than c'ing filler.
