The word MUGEN

Is it pronounced like this...

MUG.......UN

or like this...

MEW.......GUN

Really bugging me, please help :lol:
I'm getting a new dog, considering wether to call him Mugen or not.

Any other name surgestions would be cool. Spoon sounds like a retarded name :lol:

The Japanese pronunciation is moo-gen. (neither syllable gets emphasis).
It is understandible that Americans would pronounce it differently, and that's okay.
But Mugen is a Japanese company, as is Honda, so naturally they would say "moogen."

Its the 'moo' pronunciation that is correct. But the important thing to note here is what it stands for.

Taken literally, the two characters mean "no limit"--however, the actual connotation/spirit is more along the lines of "infinity". :thumb:

Wow, that's awsome, I never knew this. I always wondered what it ment / stoof for, as I was sure it wasn't just a random name someone in Japan thought up for a company lol
