Air Ride Suspention...YAY or NAY?

Here's the low down...

1) I don't race...so high-end performance suspension is NOT something I need to invest in.
2) I love my car to be LOW when I roll through town...but the air ride would provide me with...shall I say..."speed bump insurance"?
3) I've heard that air ride is alot better than hydraulics simply because if your hydras break...you have fluid EVERYWHERE...if air ride breaks...you have...air...everywhere -_-

Any other questions, comments, raves, rants, suggestions or complaints you have about my lingering ponder for upgrading from my Koni coilovers to some sort of air ride set-up...please...enlighten me.

- Mon Aug 11, 2008 11:47 pm #65462 I had air ride on my DA. Recomend it if ur not racin. Not problem proof, DONT BUY USED if you can help it. If you must then by new fittings and lines. No good when reused. Good Luck

And plus, a decent coilover set up can only start at around $400. I say that's not bad if you just want to roll around town in your slammed ride. :hehe:

Obviously air ride isn't too popular round these here parts. But whatever I always thought it would be pretty cool to be able to remotely lift and lower your ride at will. Though there appears to more downs than ups. Maybe I'll just stick with my coilovers for now.

I have seen a couple around me and I have actually instaleed two sets but I personally wouldnt do it but my blazer on the other hand... I am also about performance and not show. you will have fun with it and it is nice to not have to jack the car up to change the height.

...exactly, if u want em then do it. personally ive noticed i get the :shock: look after i tear up peoples brand new car rather than if i could be able to drop my car at will... and in my opinion that stuff is meant for lowriders or classic cars not civics. just my 2 cents :P
