#67213 I have a 94 sedan with a d15b7. It has a magnaflow cat back and a high flow cat. I have the silencer installed and on the freeway the sound is unbearable. Well its not too unbearable but I put it on the dyno and made all of 111 hp at 6000 rpm. Its just about a straight line from 30hp at 2000 right up to revlimit, it sounds like all hell is breaking loose at about 3000rpm but i'm only making about 50 hp. I have an aem cold air intake, skunk 2 intake manifold, light weight pulley's , light weight flyweel, magnicore wires, aem fuel pres. regulator set to stock, a wide band o2 that says I'm normal. I wouldn't mind the noise if I was going fast however, I don't want to make that kind of noise while I get passed by an Aveo. I was thinking about an A'pexi ws system and wanted to know if any one knows what kind of sound it makes on the freeway or any suggetions on a more subtle looking and sounding exhaust.

#67269 is the high flow cat an actual cat or one of the hollow ebay ones? A cat will help reduce the raspy tone of an exhaust, bot most important is a resonator. You didn't mention having a resonator so I would start there :thumb:

#67593 I have a Z6 with a full magnaflow exhaust with stock cat and it is a nice deep tone no ricey sound but i did install the magnaflow high cat and it sound ricey as hell only put 2 miles on that cat before reinstalling the stock. So Im guessing its your cat?
