#67906 ok got a probably stupid question for the site cuz everyone gonna say civic because this site is for civics haha, but here goes anyways. I am looking at a couple cars. not sure what i want. i love my civics but i have been looking at other cars, what does everyone think is better? now before you all tell me to go google it or some shit, i did and couldnt find things comparing either of the cars. I am trying to decide whats better between the honda civic, acura integra, or acura rsx. if anyone has a site i can check out that compares them all that would be great. but i looking at whats last the longest with the least problems, sunroof, and good acceleration, speed, and easy and fun to work on. its late so if it dont make sense i sorry but you should be able to get the general idea.

#67912 Well, just based from your choices I'll say Integra. :D And the RSX is an Integra too, they just changed the name. :? Try an Integra with a jdm front, I'm pretty sure you'll like that one. :thumb:

#67920 Yeah I would go with the Integra. A RSX is so nice, but two things that keeps me from it are, one it looks so damn high and jacked up, even when slammed the damn arch on that car is just too high looking. It looks like it would have killer body roll. So in short I think it has a bad stance. Second , for the price you might as well just get a S2k. Just my two cents :D

True that. When the Rsx came out it was ok for me but as time passed by I think of it more like a girls car, but that's my opinion. And the design is so far from the Integra, that's why I'd still choose any generation of the Teg against the Rsx.
But you can always buy the Dc and swap a k20 in it. :thumb:

the 3.5s dont mess around. some might be like pssh fuckin altima but they are suprising to say the least.

it also depends on how much money you want to spend and what youre gonna be using the car for i.e. road/track or drag because you can swap a k series into either a civic or an integra and have plenty of power just from the swap and then you can go from there with a good suspension setup etc. and have a good handling car with plenty of power.

#68438 well you could get the rsx hope someone rear ends ya to total it pop the engine out buy a eg and pop her in there....

But if you want my true opinion i really think you should buy something pre-95 so no obd2 crapola i hate it

also i would definately not lean towards american cars unless you go earlier than the 80-'s since they tend to suck both in reliability and gas mileage. but yea i would think or cars i would suggest and here is why

nissan 240sx -fun to work on some came with sunroofs, great accelleration and they are pretty close to civics in the ability to do engine swaps

Problems well at least around here in my area the junkyards you dont see them to often so that may be a good thing but if i owned one i would like to stock up on parts

Toyota corolla gts i mean come on who dosent like those flip up headlights and this is probaly because a friend of mine drifts with one and of coarse initial D

And if you find a pretty good one a bmw e30 (3series) many forums and pretty simple to work on. and pretty jumpy in accelleration and can even be turbo'd and all of them have sunroofs

If you want to stay honda
Preludes the earlier styles not the ones with the straight dash board where its just one line and headlights......im talking about the flipup headlight models gotta say the 85-86 kinda styles i love. owned a auto and it did seem pretty fast but would of been nicer if 5spd

Or there is always a civic lol

#68508 and almost forgot to add something that not to many people look at as a nice car a Volvo

Id get the early 80's or something such as that volvo 240 the 700 series are ok but tend to be heavier than the 240's and the 240's are pretty sweet. ive owned a 740gle 5spd and a 940se (turbo)

The engines in the 200 series 700 series and the 900 series as long as they are rwd are all practically similar. you have a shitload of space to work on your motor so you wont bust a knuckle most of the time....from experience no matter how hard you try not to you will.....

And the volvo is built safetly and like the website im about to give you entails like a brick.

visit Turbobricks.com to see what a couple of people have done they are very fun to work on and built simple

And you can throw on a turbo from another volvo and it will work just fine since its the same engine but yea those are all the cars id suggest volvos being one of the topers though it may seem strange lol but they are truely wonderful cars and wonderful sleepers as well.
