I've had the LCA shock bolts break on me before, but last night the bolt that attaches the end of the LCA to the frame snapped. (the one to the far right in the pic)
The kick in the balls is that the nut on the other side that the bolt threads into (the one that is welded to the subframe) snapped off too
There's not enough room to get in there to re-weld it with a MIG since that area is recessed and the tip of the MIG is way too big. The nut is fine, it was just weak/corroded spot welds that gave out.
I'm wondering if I can use the nut, along with a lock washer when I install the newbolt. Think that will be OK?
