My name is Andy and this is my second EG forum. The first was ClubCivic, but I didn't feel like the members there wanted to put much into it.. so I came here.
I bought my 1993 Civic EG on September 2008. I use to drive a 1997 Mustang but couldn't afford the gas, so I went Honda. Anyway... the body work is really bad, the motor sucks, the rims suck... and I would not have it any other way.
I have always wanted a project car and this one is perfect. It has a D15B8 motor with about 100,XXX miles, a horrible makeshift intake, and a full exhaust from the headers back. The rims are 18" knockoffs; the tires don't hold air well. The Civic has coilovers which is about the only good thing.
The interior is not bad, it does need a few pieces here and there but nothing bad.
I hope to re-paint the car teal, red, or army green. And depending on the color of the car; I will go with bronze with polished lip, white, or black rims. I don't plan on doing much else for the hatch cosmetic wise.
I want to swap the SLOW D15B8 for either a B18B1 or B18C1. Once I do that I am going to cam it, full exhaust, intake, and possibly begin the build for a turbo set up!
