- Sun Dec 07, 2008 11:03 pm #82490 did you happen to buy that from a dude in ohio? cuz idk if you have got i threw the line or not, but i almost bought tht car but the guys add was way to misleading..when i went to look at it he tlked about 18" enkei's and a "detailed" motor and NO(in caps) rust, but upon arrival rims where way to big motor looks like spraypaint? and then the rims where spraypainted while still on the tires? and some pretty decent rust...just thought it was funny to see this car has mades its way on here, hope to see wat you do with it

The ad was misleading but I was craving for a hatch.



And about the rims, paint, body:
I am getting ALL the body work done for free, getting it painted whatever color I want for free as well! (friends' hookups rule!) And I have a set of steelies that I am gonna put new rubber on. Though, one is mismatched, so I need to find the 4th for the set then I gonna get a decent set of tires.


That should all be done by this Spring..

- Tue Dec 09, 2008 1:15 am #82694 LMAO! yes in columbus the dude i was gonna get it from was white but he said if i didnt buy it he had a buddy tht was gonna buy it and i remember him being black ha, funny stuff its a small world, i was just disapointed at the misleadingness of the add on top of i drove 2 hours to get and got there and was kinda pissed(car def. photoed better then seeing in person but its a good project)... i can understand craving a hatch ha i to am in the process of fixing up mine.

good luck on yours like i said cant wait to see it done!

Just though I would update everyone with my happenings on my hatch!

I got a set of steelies, one of which had a blowout and didn't match the rest of the set. I am going to find another to match/finish the set and have a full size spare. Also, I am getting a B18A1 nearly complete motor after my friend uses the crank as a donor to his LS/VTEC project. He told me I should expect to pay him around $75 for it!!!


I should have pictures of my hatch on steel soon and I am also heading into the bodyshop soon to get my rust/dents fixed and and a fresh squirt of paint!! I am super excited..

i drove down to Cinci today to pick up some new wheels for my hatch.
The picture is not exactly what I wanted to show them off, but it will have to do until next weekend when I have time to take some day shots with some friends!!!
