Damn guys i was in the middle of resareching and responding to classiccarsrule's post about relays, when my wife who was downstairs called me down. I asked her what she wanted before i budged cause i was balls deep in the service manual, and she replyed "Get down here now!". I moved with the quickness to find our entire first floor to be almost completly filled with water up to about an inch or so. Plus the water was just tumbling out of our pantry. So i quick scrambled to make a make shift dam with towels and blankets only after running outside to shut the water off. Damn. So far 2 360s are totally ruined, about 6 boxes of comics (holding about 200 in each) got soaked about half way from the tidal wave from our water heater, including the box of dvds (about 150 or so books and covers totally ruined)and the couch is sopping wet. thank god we have tile and no carpet down there. The entire 50 gals of water including what ever tryed to fill back up emptied out like a friggen tsunami. Worst part is before it actually let loose my entire pantry was engulfed. My head hurts and i slipped on the tile running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Plus to top it off im soaking wet, with no water running in the house, And to put the cherry on top i have no chronic.
And i havent even had din din yet. lol I swear if i had hair i wouldve ripped it all out by now. oh yea and no i dont have a wet vac.
Betcha the wife will let me get one now!
