#87040 Alright guys and gals I just bought a set of 15" Sport,ax 002 wheels with zero offset. They are nice, but they sid out far, I was thinking if I rolled the fenders, slammed the car on coilovers, and use a camber kit to get them fitting under the fenders a bit. What do you all think?

Would that work? And does anyone else have a smiliar setup, or some rims with a zero offset? Post up, Thanks...

Here is a pic of one rim on my hatch.

#87045 god damn dude! good luck when dropping your car lol. n i dont think there wont b a reason to buy a camber kit. u will have to run lots of negative camber to b able to ride on those wheels and even like that i think itll still super rub.

#87056 Im not sure you can get it to work with the zero offset. 25mm offset is what usually is used. That one seems to barely fit with slammed with negative camber and stretched and rolled fenders.

#87060 someone from the UK had wheels like that on his EK civic think he got the arches rolled and used camber adjusters after it was dropped think they were 0 offset aswell so can be done.

#87066 I would sell them and get the 15 offset ones. But if you want to try and make those work, try all the things you suggested. It won't be practical for handling, but will look slammed as hell 8)

Yeah on an ek it can possibly be done. Still will need a lot of negative camber tho. I think ek's have bigger fender wells than an eg does.

On an eg there will be too much rubbing and when turning it'll probably even get stuck lol.

#87093 So it wouldnt acctualy hurt my handeling? I plan on using the car as my daily of course, as well as a weekend racer, auto x, and drag. Any one want to trade?

For daily driven I don't recommend. But that offset is perfect for autoX.

I say don't get rid of them just buy yourself another set of wheels for the daily drive and keep these as your track wheels.

The wheels look sick don't get me wrong. They would just be a pain for a daily driver.

It will hurt your handling if you have to add that much negative camber. The only way these will help you on a track is if you put on 215-225mm sticky tires.

They will also put unwanted stress on your hubs and bearings as well. its just the wrong offset for our cars.

#87178 Slammed looks so retarded. When I see a slammed car with bad rims I just expect a clown to step out of it.

Put those rims on a six-four.

#87277 rying to get rid of them. The guy I bought them from has another set exactly the same but 16" with the correct offset. But they look a little funny to me. What do you guys think?

Or should I just try trading them for something else? Anyone want to trade? :thumb:

#87291 We never said it can't be done its just a pain in the ass to drive. Also depends on how wide the wheel is.

15x6.5
15x7, x7.5, x8

What's your friend running?

#87795 It's just not practical to daily drive with those wheels...like greasedmonkey said, you'll have a lot of extra maintenance work to do! I think it's best for you to buy the other set, and by the way...they look good to me! :thumb:
