My new project 96 chevy s10

- Wed Jan 14, 2009 1:56 am #88806 Well if you kept up with my 94 si project thread you would know that I traded it once i completed it to a point for this 1996 chevy S10 now dont get me wrong at first i thought i was never going to buy american but when the thought of wrecking either of the two hondas exspecially my cx i wanted something else 4wd and 5spd so happens a friend had been looking for a civic so we ended up tradeing the si n my cx's z6 motor swap for his xbox 360 premium and his chevy s10 n the parts to fix it up some


Well I never did post pictures of this S10 so im gonna do it now though i never got pictures of the hideous red interior someone tried painting everything they could pop out (I fixed with getting regular panels and i also upgraded from the stock s10 cluster with the big speedo to the bravada cluster that has a tach gotta say this truck is quite like a civic in many ways but gas mileage lol but idc right now about that its getting decent 20-24 while its not in 4wd. And I now can bring my ATV's to my house so i can sell them to get some money to make my cx sweet......

Anyhow enough talk here are some pics

Yea i know altezza tails i dont know yet if the regular bed taillights will work on the stepside bed but man i love the stepside bed

Dont know truely what im going to end up doing with the truck as of yet besides fixing it up with the replacement stuff i have and getting it all in primer black.

I wasnt picturing that body style i was picturing the older body style. :thumb: sweet truck though brotha! Perfect little toy for transporting more toys lol! :thumb:

lol thats what happened to me I mean i told myself if im gonna really fix up my civic cx i want something to carry the needed stuff i mean i had trans fluid leak in my car smelt horrible from the many trans i put in there....as well as i had at least 2 auto trans carried in my car 3-4 motors and i just cant do that anymore its not right for my car to carry that stuff it lol ohhh n i carried 2 full civic hatch black interiors after i got them outa the yard
